Green Anole






This is a green anole, similar to the brown anoles in the photos below. You can tell the difference between a male and female anole because a male has a flap of skin under the throat called a dewlap. (This dewlap is used to attract females.)

Those bugs are pretty creepy looking David- but you sure are brave. I hope that lizard doesn't run up your nose- I had one bite my finger when I was a kid and just hang on until I shook it off and have never really been fond of lizards ever since.
